Luo Zi Shang makes his calculated move against the Emperor and confines him. Jiu Si and Yu Ru arrive to help him, but they are captured by Luo Zi Shang. Jiu Si challenges Zi Shang to a final game of chess where they recount each other's moves and then predict each other’s next moves. Zi Shang is surprised by Jiu Si’s final chess move, but Zi Shang has an unexpected countermove.
