The irresponsible driving of the drunken and desperate Venec has serious consequences. Fears are not only rampant among Venec's still-legal wife Bára, but also his mother Dáša, who blames Bára for everything. The agitated emotions on all sides are unexpectedly calmed by Monika, except for the rational grandmother, in a way that is unique to her... Klára, as an accomplice in her grandfather's escape, is given the task of checking on him at the cottage.
